When do I need to worry about a fall/bump to the head?

DD has been crawling and cruising for several weeks and despite my best efforts to be vigilant she has had a couple of knocks resulting in bruises. Generally my approach has been to watch her carefully for a few hours and if she seems normal I don't worry but just wondering if there is a more official protocol for what I should look for?

For example this morning she fell, cried, then seemed very grumpy afterwards and wouldn't go down for her nap without cuddles, also seems a bit clumsier than usual - but she does have a nasty cold so could all be down to that. Just has made me realise I don't know when I need to worry.

When the lose conciousness, even for seconds or even if you are not sure if they did.

If they are sick.

A big egg from a bump is always a good sign. The swelling is outwards and not inwards pressing on the brain which causes issues.

This is good to read

If they start throwing up withing 24 hours as that can be a sign of concussion.
