Dd, nearly 3, says tongue hurts. Also has temp. Fine other than that.

I know some illnesses cover mouth - is it hand foot and mouth? - any other possibilities? Do I need to do anything about it?

thrush hurts.

Apols for typos.

No signs of thrush.

No spots on hands or feet so hand foot mouth unlikely.

Anything else?

I'd say hand foot and mouth, it hurts before all the blisters come out, looks like ulcers in their mouth.

I get a achy/painful tongue when I'm under the weather/and run down. Its often before I get a sore throat. Often say I've broken my tongue! Could this be similar?

I hope so onelittleclara. Dh away this week and really could do without ill children.
