15 month old sick in his sleep - WWYD?

Just went in to DS as he was crying. Sitting up in bed and has vomited all over his bed and sleeping bag. He didn't seem distressed and went back to sleep easily once he was cleaned up and his bed was changed. Now I'm terrified he will vomit again and choke - does that happen at his age? Looking for some reassurance I guess as I am a first time mum and DS has never done this before... Should I sleep on his floor?

Do you think you'll be up worrying all night if you don't sleep on his floor? I probably would sleep in his room, if you can make yourself fairly comfy there. Just because I know I'd be in every 5 mins to check on him anyway!
Has he bumped his head badly in the last couple of days?
Did he seem different from usual before going to sleep?
Does he have a temperature?
You could always phone 111 if you want to speak to a medic.

I'd sleep in beside him for peace of mind. Fwiw dd has been sick in her sleep more times than I can count and has never choked.

Thanks for your replies! He was of course totally fine and I was as usual panicking! I slept with both his door and my door wide open and checked on him about a million times. He slept right through quite happily! I think I just got a real fright when I saw how much vomit he had produced, really horrid to see your wee one all sleepy and upset and covered in puke. Poor wee soul
