Is bloody amazing. DD has had various prescriptions, all of which have done naff all for her eczema. We're on holiday in the states and I bought some of the Aveeno baby cream which I've never seen in England. It's brill. Her eczema has cleared for the first time in months. I am stockpiling before we fly home!

DS2 who is 10 has had eczema since he was born. I started using Aveeno cream about a year ago and it still works to stop the itching.

We'd tried Aveeno before but never the baby stuff. The regular stuff stopped the itching but this lot actually eradicate the seeping, oozing skin in about three days!!

Aveeno bath oil was the best thing for us. We got it (and the cream too) on prescription (in England)

My dd has just been prescribed aveeno for her eczema as she was using diprobase but it seemed to be making it worse.she is on a course of antibiotics at the minute as her eczema was infected so have been using the aveeno and her skin is a lot better and very little itching although could be because of the antibiotics but hoping using the aveeno on its own will do the trick

I use aveeno for ds2, only thing that works for his eczema. Bath oil, bath wash and cream. You can buy it from boots and dh recently batch bought a load from eBay. Drs won't prescribe it here last time I asked.

Love aveeno, I buy it when it's a third off in boots. Thanks for eBay tip.

Gp won't prescribe it, keeps giving me creams that either make no difference at best, or make it worse. Now got a cupboard full of massive useless tubs. Waste of money.

My son was prescribed Aveeno for a number of years. I love it too - silky, creamy , smells ace.

littleoaktree · 16/09/2013 12:42

The aveeno baby range is definitely the best. They changed the ingredients in the standard cream a few years ago and I'm now allergic to that and it makes my skin worse whereas the aveeno baby stuff is brilliant and the only cream I've found in 32 years that doesn't make my face go bright red and sore. I get it on eBay as haven't found a uk stockist.

Absolutely fantastic. Am sure people think i have shares in it. Was recommended by a paed consultant dermatologist. Transformed my baby's eczema. Only find the blue top stuff on eBay any good - the uk stuff just doesn't work on my child's skin. Obv can't get it on prescription but frankly it is so good it is def worth every penny.

AntoinetteCosway · 16/09/2013 13:07

I've never seen the baby stuff in the UK. I wonder why they don't seem to sell it there? It is hands down the best stuff we've found.

I've bought the baby ones online here in the uk before.
