DS hasn't finished cutting his molars at almost 3???

DS who will be 3 at the end of the month has been trying to chew his hand for the last couple of weeks, sometimes literally pushing his whole fist in the mouth. Yesterday I had a look and noticed that small parts of his back top molars are just cutting through the surface of the gum (the rest of the tooth came out quite a while ago).

He has been incredibly snotty for the last two days with his nose running pretty much constantly. Not sure if the two are related? He has no temperature and is fine otherwise.

Is it normal to still cut milk teeth at 3?

They cut them for years yet!! They get more molars at junior school just to give you the heads up!

Dd1 didn't get her 2yr molars until she was gone 4yo.

It does go on for years and years then the milk teeth fall out and you have all the misery with adult teeth. A never ending process.
