About six weeks ago ds, 8 months, whacked his forehead on the windowsill. Was my fault completely as was lifting him up as part of a game and just lifted his too far over my head. Was awful. Had it been dd we'd have gone to a&e - we did in fact at similar age when she bashed head on a chair But this is second child and we are more confident. He cried immediately, allowed himself to be comforted, drank milk, eyes could focus etc. he got a bump and bruise but I wasn't worried. Bruise has finally faded - can't see it at all now 6 weeks later, but when I touch where it was there is a funny ridge, though doesn't bother him for me to touch it. I can't have fractured it without knowing can I? Maybe he always had a ridge but I had never touched it before? Do I need to see doc?
