Bad case of hand foot and mouth

3 yr old DS just been diagnosed with HFMD. No mouth ulcers or temp but terrible rash over face, hands, arms and lower legs. Calamine lotion applied. He had a mild case when he was about 20 months with a faint rash. Just wondering if anyone knew when the rash would fade. There were only a few spots yesterday but it really erupted overnight. I'm also worried that my 9 month old will get it. I'm due back to work next week of course and they're both going to nursery. Typical.

GP saw bad rash today and thought it cp at first but ruled out coz no spots on torso. A few spots have pale centres but no big blisters. He is itchy.
