DD has her preschool jabs in an hour. We are going away on Friday for the weekend. Is she likely to be feeling terrible. Would you cancel and rearrange for another time? I'm trying to get it done in the school hols as it would be tricky in term time to fit in with clinic times, so it will prob have to wait til oct if I cancel.

My DS was fine.

He is now 15 though, is it the same vacccines?

My DS was fine, not even a temperature. I don't know any of his friends who felt terrible, certainly not enough to stop them going away.

It didnt seem to affect dd in the slightest (I blubbed like a baby though. I hate seeing her get jabs because she cries and is scared, then I cry) she forgot about all of it except the plaster around and hour later, following an ice lolly.

I wimped out and cancelled, decided it wasn't worth risking ruining the weekend. Thanks anyway though, I'm sure it would have been fine but the law of sod and all that!
