pre school boosters reactions, or am I being a paranoid parent?

dd had her pre school boosters on wed, she complained her arm hurt afterwards and on and off all day yesterday. at bedtime it seemed slightly swollen, so sent her to bed with calpol.

this morning it's still hurting her, she's really not her usual self (wants to lie down rather than run around like she usually does) seems red/bruised where she had the injection and swollen and warm on her upper arm.

My dp and dm think i'm being paranoid, but dd has never reacted like this to any of her other injections even her baby ones, and it's got me slightly concerned.

just wondering if there is someone out there who can slap me silly for being an idiot and dd's reactions are normal, or can tell me i'm not being silly.

No slapping from me (I'm no slapper Wink) but yes, normal. At least, sounds just like both my dds.

Treat her as though she's got a cold today - calpol, lots of DVDs, that kind of thing. She should be on the mend tomorrow x

I can deal with a dvd day Grin

You're a totally normal parent Smile

Sounds like a normal reaction. DD had an abnormal one arm which had DTP/HIB swelled to three times it's normal size from shoulder to elbow was bright red and stayed liked that for three weeks.
