Hi dd had fever from Friday of 102, saw dr on Monday who said to wait and see. Fever subsided and just high temp/low fever but she's snoring really badly, and sounds like she's struggling at times to breath. This is only when asleep. She's waking frequently due to it and is distressed. Dr said her glands weren't up but didnt check throat. Ears were clear and no rash. She doesn't have a snotty nose/cold at all. I've made recordings of her snoring. Any ideas?

Check her throat. If her tonsils are enlarged, that'll make her snore. Give her some iboprufen to reduce the inflammation and make her more comfortable. If in doubt at all, speak to your GP.

I was thinking tonsils. She's hardly eating at all. Luckily she still bfing so some nutrition there. Off to camp bestival tomorrow so will call dr in a bit. Full on day as ds2 has his full OT assessment in a couple of hours.

Dr says adenoids large and gunky throat tho not tonsils. Have AB on stand by if gets worse.
