As the title says really. He has had this cough for a little while, since starting some dryer foods during weaning, don't know if the two are connected. It's a dry cough which we hear during the night but he also seems to choke/cough during his, milk feeds too.

We have a cat and, dog. I am worried it's to do with this.

What is safe and effective in curing it?

I would get it checked by the dr before giving him anything as he is still very little. They may say its nothing but my friends dd 7 months had s cough for a few weeks that turned out to be a nasty chest infection (no other signs).

There's nothing you can give them really, and cough medicines don't really work anyway. Agree with getting him checked out though.

Thanks guys. Will make an appointment next week. Seems to be worse in the night.

If it is worse at night it may be asthma.
