DD2 is 8months, has become very spotty all over but also on hands feet etc.

Doctor said its hand foot and mouth that has also been infected with impetigo but possibly chicken pox as well. She has a temp too. She has impetigo everywhere, blisters everywhere and its really dreadful. Only plus point is that she is in reasonable spirits.

We've got antibiotics but im really struggling to get her to get any down and I've also got a tube of fucidin ointment from last time that I will use too..

We are due back at docs tomorrow at 5.30pm but Im considering taking her back today for another opinion... the impetigo is so wide spread Im worried we arent going to get near it with the ABs.

Am I over reacting>?

If its that bad take her back. It sounds horrendous. There must be something else they can give her. Perhaps call drs first and ask for a call back , tell them it's worse and that your struggling to get the antibiotics in her. Took ten days worth to clear just a small patch on my dd. god knows how a baby dose is going to clear that lot up :(

took her back to docs. Have ruled out HF&M and confirmed CP. Most of which is infected with impetigo - poor sausage...

Feel much better now as we've got better ABs and cream
