My daughter has got a smelly urine and goes often to the loo but she is not in pain. Been to the doctor couple months back and did not have any urine infection. She is also tired but not sure if it is due to end of the school year or something else. Any suggestions?

I'm very surprised they didn't find an infection tbh.

My dd had recurrent infections at that age (due to an overactive bladder which also caused her incontinence), and I could tell by the smell. She never had any pain, but the incontinence was always worse when she had an infection.

Can you ask to have her tested again? I do not mean to be patronising but are you sure the sample was not contaminated? That could affect teh result.
