7 months old having fever, still going to the childminder's or not?

DS had stomach bug last week. At day 6 - this Saturday, it seemed cleared out.

This morning, he had running nose (clear) and had been grumpy the whole day. I gave him a bath in late afternoon. Then this evening, he started a temperature. But because of the ridiculous "ear thermometer", the measure has ranged between 37.4-38.8. His skin was hot to touch and his face looked really red. I gave him a dose of Capol an hour ago. Now it seehms his temperature came down a bit (not easy to tell as I can hardly trust the ear thermometer.Confused

I will keep giving him capol tonight. But I am just not sure if I can still send him to the childminder's tomorrow morning even if he's alright then without temperature. Sad

Can someone advise please?

It might now be teething so I would go for it. They can always call you if anything happens as the day progresses

Thank you! It's his first fever. I have little clue about what to expect.

Finger crossed...Envy
