6wk old DS very gunky eye due to........

....weeing in it yesterday (his own wee obviously, I wouldn't let someone else wee in his eye!)

Do I need to take him to the doctors tomorrow or just keep wiping it with cooled, boiled water and it'll clear up on its own?

If you are breastfeeding try squirting or dropping some breastmilk in, sounds strange but works wonders with conjunctivitis - would cause no harm and might help in the same way.

I was going to say breast milk too.

I told DH about the breast milk thing and he laughed his head off! I have been trying it though so will look to see if there is any improvement tomorrow.
