dd2 (2yo) just fell, banged her face and now has nosebleed. What should I be doing?

Have tilted head back and pinched her nostrils together.

Everytime I think the bleeding has stopped, it starts again.

What should I be doing/looking for?

And now she has fallen asleep in my lap. Is that ok?

OK, for future reference don't tilt head back. On your own nose find the end of the boney/cartlidge bit at the top (start at top of nose, finger both sides 'pinch' as hit squashy bit). That initial squashy bit is where you hold tight and it should stop much faster.

Fine that she's asleep. Just keep an eye on her this evening. Sickness/disorientation see doc.

Thank you anklebiters.

I should know this with two dc but dd1 never had a nosebleed

You're welcome. I was plagued with them as a child and with my bunch of maniacs tribe we've had more than our fair share of bloody noses.

Sure she'll be fine, they're not usually serious-a bit like if you cut a lip or have a bitten tongue..blood everywhere in seconds Wink

Tha amount was of blood was quite scary tbh!

Thanks
