High Fever despite antibiotics and neurophen - 3 year old- any advise?

Hi

I tood my 3y DD to GP yesterday and he said gave penicillin and told me to give neurophen etc.

She had 3 doses of AB till now and every 6 hours neurophen. Also applied cold flannels etc.
However her fever is going up and up and has now reached 40.

shall I go again to doctor?
I do not like to go unnecessary and overreacting.

This is first time she had fever and sick.

Any opinions would be appreciated. thank you x

Yes go to GP and in meantime try to keep up fluids etc
