How tall is your 10/11 year old DS and what does he weigh?

I know things vary but just wondering.

Hi. My son is 13 now but I have looked up his book and when he was 10 and a half he was 150cm and about 38 kg. he has always been on a higher centile for height and weight and I have been a bit concerned recently that his weight went down another centile even though he eats well. Are you worried about height, weight or both? What do you mean when you say that he is struggling to eat?

Really the important thing is not what he actually weighs, but whether he is losing weight.

Ds1 is dead short and scrawny but is average for weight. I think his bones are made out of lead. He is weighed every few months or so by the paed as he is on meds which can impact appetite.

Why is he struggling to eat? What do you mean? Physically? Or mentally?

As my pfb he was weaned on everything from chicken livers to papaya to fresh seabass!

His diet is now very limited. He loves veg but not fruit.

He will not touch

Ham
Cheese
Beef
Lamb
Meatballs
Sausages
Tuna
Salmon or any fish
Shepherds pie
Moussaka
Mashed potato

He takes hours to eat so it goes stone cold and claggy. He picks like a bird and nibbles. I will weigh him tomorrow and post more then. He says he doesnt like the texture of foods and that it is too chewy.

He does like

Chilli
Roast chicken and all the trimmings
Crispy bacon
Chicken wraps
Hotdog sausages
Chocolate spread
Risotto with asparagus
Mussels and calamari
Homemade or zizzi pizza

Actually when I write it down it doesnt look so bad.
