Desmopressin 1st night what to expect

Anyone's DC had Desmopressin?
Dd 5 has taken tablet for first time tonight. Is it likely to work from the outset?

Any side effects ?

I was just about to post about desmopressin. DS is on night 3 of the nasal spray. It worked from the first night with no noticeable side effects. He does have to restrict water intake - last drink one hour before bed and nothing for eight hours after taking it - but that isn't hard to do.

So this is third night tonight. It didn't work the first two nights.
Anyone else had Desmopressin and it didn't work?

My DD has tablets. Your DS has a nasal spray?

I've come back to update for anyone else searching in future.

After 4 nights DD became dry. She stayed dry every night fr about 10 days. She then got poorly and was sick so no tablet as per instructions,

She had about 5 days off.
Now it has taken 5 days back on tablets and still not dry again.

So it seems to need to build up but stops working immediately if stopped.
