Best facial wash for 9 yr old with mild eczema?

My son gets red bumpy skin on his face. It doesn't itch. It was diagnosed as eczema. We have been given various emollients but have run out & am using bottom butter. He has recently been washing his face with soap and tthats made it worse. Can anyone recommend a face wash?

Maybe try washing his pillowcase in just water, in case his rash is due to tiny amounts of washing powder from clothes washing?
I had eczema caused by washing powder as a child
Also could try additive free bread/simple, whole foods or going back to "grandmas diet" with no numbers/preservatives/antioxidants/colours for a few days in case that clears it up
