can someone help me with calpol dosage for a 7yr old please

just that really,
trying to control temp and pain, the two 5mls for a 4-6yr old doesnt seem to be helping inbetween 10ml of nurofen but thats all the dosage instructions seem to go up to

The dosage for 6-8 on the six plus calpol is 5ml, so unfortunately 10ml of the normal calpol is the right dosage. It did used to be different I think, pretty much double that.

Although this link says that the old dosage instructions can still be used by parents, which would allow 20ml of calpol Confused.

In hospital they use gallons of the stuff, or so it seemed to me Shock

I've never worried about them overdosing since then tbh. Last time ds was poorly and needed calpol I gave him a 1.5 dose (from the bottle instructions) and then repeated every 3-4 hours rather than 4-6 hrs Blush He is very large for his age though.
