can someone help me with calpol dosage for a 7yr old please

just that really,
trying to control temp and pain, the two 5mls for a 4-6yr old doesnt seem to be helping inbetween 10ml of nurofen but thats all the dosage instructions seem to go up to

The dosage for 6-8 on the six plus calpol is 5ml, so unfortunately 10ml of the normal calpol is the right dosage. It did used to be different I think, pretty much double that.

Although this link says that the old dosage instructions can still be used by parents, which would allow 20ml of calpol .

I've never worried about them overdosing since then tbh. Last time ds was poorly and needed calpol I gave him a 1.5 dose (from the bottle instructions) and then repeated every 3-4 hours rather than 4-6 hrs He is very large for his age though.
