Pseudo-Lennox Gastaud syndrome in 3 year old

Hi all, our 3 year old just been diagnosed following battery of tests for what they originally thought was cerebellar ataxia following a virus. The sleep EEG confirmed the above diagnosis. There is not a lot on the web on this specific syndrome (lots of Lennox-Gastaud itself), particularly prognosis. I would really love any insight into this specific syndrome and also more broadly any feedback on Epilim (sodium valproate) vs some of the newer agents like lamotrogine. Many thanks. Worried sick, although he is quite oblivious to our concerns.

There is a FB group called 'Epilepsy Suck UK' which I am sure has a couple of PLG children. Alternatively have you tried contact-a-family?

Thanks - will do both!
