DS1 aged 10 had tonsillitis and chest infection, over the worst, but so great and washed out. Besides a. Good diet can anyone recommend any supplements, vitamins etc that may aid his recovery?

Awww, hope he feels better soon. I know that look, DS often looks pale a week before he's ill, while he's ill and for up to 2 weeks after Shock. Afraid I don't know any supplements- maybe someone else will, but I just go for as healthy a diet as I can and some fresh air. It's the antibiotics that wash them out IMO (has he had them?).

Vitamin C stronger than RDA and zinc/magnesium could help? RDAs aren't up to much though. Like Redoxon, ten mg in fizzy drink - doesn't seem worth it. Zinc makes you drowsy but can also make you a little nauseous so the best time is before bed.

I always give my teenage son Floradix tablets when he's a bit run down.
