I never remember to ask all the right questions at the doctors! So I always end up on here that and I'm a useless neurotic worrier when DD is ill
What's the MN opinion on waking babies overnight for extra Calpol or neurofen if they have a temperature?
As background, 10mo has an ear infection and a stinking cold. She had hit a temperature of 40 earlier but has responded well to a mix of Calpol and neurofen (only just got antibiotics so has only had one dose), and has finally managed to go to sleep. She's only in a babygrow, no vest or sleeping bag, and in a room which is normally about 18-19 degrees.
She doesn't normally wake naturally in the night, so I would have to wake her. Should I let her sleep, or wake her at 2/3am for some more medicine?
