complaining of tummy ache after having a wee

Ds(6) is of school with asthma cold and ear ache. He is been having calpol.
Since last night he has been complaining of a tummy ache after having a wee. HE say it hurts at the bottom of his tummy.
Do you think its an infection or the glands in his tummy being swollen from the virus/infection.
He is only saying it hurts after he has done a wee.

could it be mesenteric adenitis, when glands in tummy swell up in children during any infection and cause pain?

It could be but wouldnt that hurt all the time. Waiting for a call back from the dr as he has had UTI in the past but this is different.
