she has been suffering for a few years with constant thick mucous coming out of her mouth ,blocked nose sneezing and now nose bleeds where she will get a blood clot come out of her mouth either after a nose bleed or sometimes without a nosebleed, this is why the gp is sending her for a camera up her nose - im scared for her ,what to expect ?
do i tell her about the numbing nose spray as this itself can panic you as it feels like you cant breath (from experience)
will it hurt too much without ?

Tough one...poor old dd, hope they find solution fast.

When I had a camera up my nose, it was utterly painless - but I had the numbing spray. In my case, it didn't make me feel anything at all, it was fine (and I'm a bit phobic about not being able to breathe) so maybe your experience was an individual one? I would just go with the spray, but tell her to breathe through her mouth and try to relax...easy to say, of course.

Good luck, hope it goes well Smile
