Vaccination today for 8 week old and now when awake he's screaming

I have never heard him scream like this before, jabs were at lunchtime, he screamed for five minutes then we came home and he slept for an hour, he woke up and started screaming, we gave him some calpol and he is feeding okay and has slept again since but as soon as he wakes up he starts screaming again, anyone else had this? He doesn't have a fever and area around the jabs looks okay.

Hi, I had that with one of my dc after one jab (can't remember which one, but it was one of the early ones, ie in the first half year). Exactly the same, screaming, sleeping, screaming. Freaked me out, went straight away to a GP who could not find anything wrong. Was still not himself the next day but day after that was fine again.

I do remember that he did have some fever (not very high though) the day after the jab.
