Anyone got a child on Pizotifen for migraines ?

And if so, have they put on weight ??

Ds is 9 and has 15ml of pizotifen every night. He has always been a stocky lad, but since being on this he has steadily put on weight.

Dd took this, she put on lots. Always been slim befkre - she swims. Took her to docs who gave immigran but se was 12 when taking them.

I put on loads of weight with this when I was in my early 20's
Topamax was much better

Yeh i don't think there is an alternative until he is a bit older, which is a shame because he could be huge by then.

The trousers he was wearing for school in july won't even do up now.

There is no way he can not take it, as the migrianes come straight back if he does.
