How long before the other spots does the Queen spot appear with chicken pox?

My DS has been sniffly and not himself for a week. This morning he has a red spot on his tummy with a white head. He's also woken the last couple of nights at about 3am, which is unheard of, so I wouldn't be surprised if he is coming down with something.
If its chicken pox, how quickly will I see more spots after the first Queen spot that I've read about?

With my 2, especially DD2 who had it awfully, the first spots to appear became the ones that stayed longest, left little scars etc. They were definitely the queen spots. (3 of them)

With DD about 3 days. Apparently a friend noticed them on DD's leg but the friend and DD's childminder decided they couldn't be CP as DD was looking so well. She oke up 3 days later covered from scalp to toe.
