5 year old son playing with moon sand, I was in kitchen getting lunch. He came in kitchen with big grin on his face, moon sand around his mouth and gritty sound in his mouth. Said he had eaten some moon sand. I don't know why he did it! Think he only ate a little. Can't get on moon sand website to check, nothing on box and instructions missing. Any one know if I have anything to worry about or if it is non toxic?

It wouldn't be dangerous if its marketed at children.

the moonsand website says it is non toxic so he should be fine

Thank you for replies. Good to know it is non toxic. I am sure he will be highly amused if he has rainbow poo!. Moon sand been packed away and he now playing with lego. Thought he had more common sense than to eat moon sand but obviously not , he has since eaten tuna sandwichs which I am sure he found far more palitaple!
