Could this be a reaction to the heat?

2.5yo dd has mild asthma, hay fever, eczema and a heart murmur (Listing in case any of these could be related)

She was sick on Thursday but we think that was due to the heat. Since then though she has started getting red blotches on her face. I have noticed they come up after she has eaten or woken up. Her cheeks are red all over now. She is boiling hot all over (Calpol is settling this though) and is off her food.

It is hot here today (27 degrees)

Could this be due to the heat? I have googled it and food allergies come up as being linked with the blotches but it is everytime she eats and she is a good eater!

She is mostly fine in herself.

Thanks.

First thing I thought on reading your post was food allergy. When DS1 had an allergic reaction to red food colouring, even after having had medication for it, his face used to show the blotches up when he got hot or cried for several weeks afterwards.
