Hi all,
Our nearly 10mo daughter has had a cough and cold for weeks now, and the last few days have been a real drain - she has ended up in bed with us. But she has also taken to waking up between 5 and 6.30am, so we are shattered to say the least. I am hoping this is a phase.
In relation to the cough and cold she is on the nurses books now to keep checking on us/her until the cold and cough have cleared. Constant runny nose!
In relation to the whingey part of the thread title, she goes to nursery 2 days per week and is looked after by a family member another 2 days of the week and if a particular nursery nurse, the family friend or myself or my partner move away from her when looking after her she immediately starts to whinge/cry even if they remain in the same room.
She is 10 months old and has just started this little habit, I am not sure why? Perhaps being left at Nursery etc she feels if someone leaves her side they perhaps arent coming back for hours? But it makes it very hard for us to get ready in the morning and for example if we come in the house with shopping and pop her on the floor with some toys and go back to the car to get the shopping in she whinges/cries.
We have several friends with babies younger and older than her who arent like this.
Oh and when will she start to crawl? She can get up on her knees and rocks back and forth but just doesnt go anywhere.
