Should I expect more requests from health visitors and GP after a broken bone... Is this normal

DS 2 broke his collarbone.
We didn't take him to hospital for 5 days, we knew he was hurt but he was using the hand... I know this is common with parents to miss.

So all well at hospital. X-ray and discharge with fracture clinic follow up.
We go on our holiday and I don't let him ride a bike!

Whilst away, hv leaves phone message on mobile (and home) but I don't answer as we're abroad and I don't pick up voicemail for same reason.

1st thing Monday morning (we got home sun night) hv is on doorstep.
Seemed suspicious and heavy questioning about how it happened but left happily enough

Took him to fracture clinic appt where lovely consultant was totally happy. All healed, no need to X-ray again.

Now, three half weeks after break, I get letter from GP requesting we bring him in for appointment.

Are they all just doing their job?

If they are suspicious, what next??

I have no experience of this but it does sound overly suspicious - is HV linked to GP surgery? it may be that she has flagged it up.. although from what you've said I can't think why, if you can make appointment I would just take him to show that all is fine and hopefully that will be the end of it
