I had this after taking an antibiotic for mastitis. A locum told me it was a side effect of the antibiotic - my own doctor later tried to deny this.

It's really awful, isn't it?

I couldn't have lasted two months without treatment so assume hers is milder. I couldn't move without feeling I was falling - I'd then be sick.

How is hers affecting her?

I had some tiny tablets that I had to place between my cheek and my gum until they dissolved - sorry, can't remember what they were called. Once they had dissolved I was okay. I can't see why they'd think no treatment was better than treatment. I didn't feel safe when I was suffering from it.

I seriously would go back and ask for a second opinion, a child shouldnt have to suffer like the, labyrynthitis is awful. The headache part doesnt fit with labyrthitis at all, seriously I would be questioning the diagnosis, sorry to come across so bluntly. Hope she feels better soon
