Feeling a bit wobbly. A woman has just run into the back of my car at the traffic lights so not going fast but hit us quite hard. Car is damaged a bit, bumper very loose.
She was mortified.

DS is 4 and DD 19 months, both strapped in car seats and they seem fine but does anyone know what I should be looking out for?

Can the DCs get whiplash?

(My neck and back hurt a bit and I feel sick but not sure if that's shock??)

TIA

I would be tempted to get them checked just in case, both car seats will need replacing too

Thank you.

Been on the phone to NHS direct who have reassured me.

Just need to keep an eye on them particularly DD but they have eaten lunch played etc... and seem fine.

Good point about the seats though, not even crossed my mind Blush

If your at all worried then check them out....but statistically your less likely to get whiplash in the rear of a car than the front, have no idea why. Researched this as when I had a nasty accident both me and my front passenger had bad whiplash but the person in the back was ok (bit sore but nothing really).

Your insurance should cover the costs of new seats I believe.
