DGS (3.9) poked himself in the eye

.... about 4 hours ago, and hasn't opened it properly since, and is making a lot of ouchy noises about it still. Not sure whether it's worth taking him to the out-of-hours surgery or whether they would even be able to do anything if it's 'just' a scratch on the front of the eye. I doubt he would even let them look at it :S

Any advice anyone?

Try call nhs direct for advice. You can't be too safe with eye injuries.
