Dd with lump on shin weeks after injury happened.

Dd (10) bumped her shin on a low wall at least 4 (could be 5 or 6) weeks ago.
She had a bruise and a bit of a bump there, but nothing very bad. She's had worse before.
However, she's now told me that there is still a lump on her shin where the bruise was. It doesn't hurt her at all - I've prodded all around it - but the area is definitely raised. Is this something that will go away eventually or does she need to see GP?

Yes it will go eventually. Very little tissue on shins so lumps and bumps stay around for ages. Take her to gp if it becomes painful though.

I would take her to the gp to be on the safe side, lumps should always be checked out.
