Mild croup and returning to childcare

DD is 10mo and normally healthy although she did have a cold last week. She was very wheezy last night. Called NHS Direct and, on their guidance, OOH doctor who suggested over the phone it was probably croup. She's better today, but no nasty cough. No fever either. Saw GP today who couldn't hear anything in her lungs but who said that I should see OOH GP tonight if any further problems.

I kept her off her childcare (childminder) today as I wanted to keep an eye - she's been very happy all day and generally well. Have, of course, told my CM about it as she has a 7mo baby and I wouldn't want to cause any problems for him. I wondered if anyone had advice about return to childcare with croup or info about official guidance on it?

TIA

Whenever Ds has had croup we have been told no need to keep him off unless he is unwell in himself.
