Hi I am new to mumsnet. My 11 yr old d got sent home from school with a massive enlarged pupil on Tuesday. Went to hospital same day, doc didnt know what it was , so saw specialist next day. It went down by then but he has refered her for an optic mri scan next tuesday and said if eyes dilate in meantime and stay dilated she must go straight to hospital. Just wondered if anyone else has come across this. The day it happened the eye stayed dilated all day even in bright sunlight. She says the eye that was affected is still blurry.Also although the pupils seem to be reacting then tend to look rather big and they were not like this before tuesday I wondered if it could be something like migraine.
