DS nearly 13 , is still small for his age, constantly tired, skinny as a rake and we have just come back from Gps with prescription for antiboiotics for tonsillitis, following on from a chest infection a few months ago. His 3rd set of antibiotics in as many months.

He had blood tests done a few months ago and all was fine, but I'm slightly concerned about his general run-down-ness. Gp thinks hes just had a bad few months and caught a few bugs.

He does do a reasonable amount of sport, eats well (though not nearly as much as his 10 yr old brother who eats for his country!), gets at least 10 hours sleep a night.... but just seems to be operating at 90% all the time.

I give him iron supplements each day and will put him on minadex now to help him over this, but any ideas for a general on-going boost.

If he is on antibiotics, perhaps a good thing to give him would be the probiotic or prebiotic drinks

Good idea, will get those.

Poor child can a barely eat or talk, am hoping antibiotics kick in soon.
