My dd has been peeing very frequently for a couple of weeks. Last sunday it was literally every ten minutes with only tiny drops coming out. I took her to the doc on Monday. Sample has come back clear so it's not an infection. I had been giving her diluted orange juice in the mornings as she was a bit coldy (we don't have juice at home much but I give them a bit when I feel they need a boost of vit c). As I have a bit of an irritable bladder myself I think that may have been the trigger. But she's been on a total juice ban for a week now and little change. Will phone doc again tomorrow but suspect she won't have an answer. Anyone else got any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I had some issues with DD recently regarding this and her Dr said sometimes they have to take a few tests before they get a proper result as it can get contaminated from the skin bacteria.

Normally though, a urine infection will cause a lot of abdominal pain and fever and sickness. How is she sleeping?

Thanks Heyyyho. Sleeping fine and well in all other respects. It doesn't seem to be a urine infection, so wondering what other ways there might be to solve it...

hope she is better soon, can I ask did they re-test her urine to show an infection or find out another way? I am just curious as DD had lots of tests come back clear and they were not sure.

yes they retested and it was clear even from dip test that she had an infection. Doc said it was prob just brewing when they tested the first time. Must say am relieved to have an answer. Hope your dd is ok now.

Ah yes it can take a while to show.
I think dd had a tummy bug combined with just soreness down below. They can be really difficult to diagnose but quite simple to treat so hope she is back to normal real soon :)
