Is my 8 year old daughter starting puberty?

hiya my daughter appears to be developing a chest. Is this a bit young? She has started to wear 'crop tops' but was wondering at what point do i start buying her a trainer bra? she is my youngest and only daughter, my eldest (nearly 12) has started puberty but i seem to be noticing it a lot more with my daughter.

Yes, by the sounds of it, not unlikely & apparently not that uncommon these days - I've seen several threads on here on this subject in the past & bought my own DD(9) a great little book I saw recommended on one of them - its far more age appropriate than the ones I'd looked at before, but does explain it all in a way more suited to a youngster than a teen :)

I can't answer the bra question - mines not there yet, but personally I'll be taking DDs lead on that, unless of course she suddenly gets huge bazookas & needs a god one

I started my periods age 9 and had a full set of boobs by 11. Everyone develops differently. It's very possible she is starting puberty early.

I umed and ah'd for ages about when was the right time but then I just knew in the end

noticed early development at 8, bought bra just before 10th birthday so it can take a while and it can also come and go a bit IYSWIM?
