Hot flush/rash under my 6 year old daughters eyes

She woke with it this morning and I assumed for a little while that it was because she'd been lying pressed against her pillows.

It looks like sunburn - an angry slash of red under each eye. And they're hot to the touch. And they haven't faded add all. I put some E45 on them, but it's made no difference, and she hasn't used any creams/make up without me knowing.

It's not sunburn, by the way, it was raining here yesterday.

I'm at a loss.

All four of mine over the last few weeks have taken it in turns to have a weird bright, pink rash above one or both eyelids, sometimes underneath as well. Took the one who had it worst to the docs and was told it was just his eczema flaring up ( all 4 have it in varying degrees). Was prescribed Aveeno cream, although not convinced it was eczema at all, seemed more viral to affect them all in turn Confused. All seem to be ok now - weird though. You can buy this cream over the counter, it might help Smile

Oh, I have Aveeno here. Will give it a go, it may cool it down.
I agree with you though Emphaticmaybe, it doesn't look like any skin problem. She's a bit out of sorts too, so perhaps viral.

Thanks.
