Dd is 11months old and is bf. last night we had a single episode of projectile vomit and this morning we have an explosive nappy...my nephew was round on mon and he was doing this too, his went on for four days! So Di I just offer toast and water and bf or do I just carry on as normal?! My instinct says bf when she wants too and offer the water and toast at meal times...but would be grateful for any advice?! Tia x

I would say follow your instinct first and foremost, if unsure.....Does she have a temperature? I would suggest breast milk only, then add spoonfuls of water, leave the food until her stomach settles then dry toast only. She should tell you if she wants anything else. You could offer toast when she 's feeling better but if she says no, don't force it. This is what I have done and it seems to work!

Breast milk is fine for poorly tummies

Thanks ladies I went with instinct an bf only...she has viral gastroenteritis and I'm hoping she's on the mend! Grin
