handwashing for 18 month old with bad eczema

A few months ago DD starting to suffer from bad eczema which got infected and was very painful. Anyway, we went to the doctor and were given antibiotics and told not to use soap/shampoo and to put emollient in the bath instead. The eczema has cleared up everywhere apart from the her hands and I don't know what to do about handwashing. With this lovely weather we are out in the park or the garden every day and for the last few days I washed her hands with soap before her lunch. I didn't think it would make much difference once in a while and she had been playing with mud so she was filthy but now the eczema is worse than ever on her hands.

I've looked in Boots and asked the staff but they don't seem to be able to suggest anything. Does anyone here know of anything that I can wash her hands with that will make them clean enough to eat with but does not contain soap?

I really appreciate any suggestions that you might have.

When dd1 has a fixation with handwashing we were given some oil based cream (I think it was) to use instead of soap. it worked well enough.

Alternatively cream up after washing hands.
