4 month old son with yellow puss in wet nappy

I've noticed that my baby boy who is 4 months has had wet puss in his nappy today. Not in every nappy that I've changed, but about 50%. Not alot, but a couple of little blobs. He's also had dark grains in his poo for a week although he's only had 3 in the past week.. A bit sand-like. He's exclusively breast fed.

Any ideas what thus could be / should I be worried?

No idea what the grains in the poo could be (although my bf babies' poo was sometimes a bit seedy-looking, so if it's just that, it's normal). The pus though, could be balanitis (infection of the end of the penis). It's very common in children whose foreskin doesn't yet retract. My ds had it when he was in nappies - doctor gave me some cream and it went away. It's not serious if it's treated quickly.

Thanks hunt a possible infection came up on dr google too.... But you know what that's like! Smile took ds to the docs today. No sign of infection on inspection, but no puss in his nappy to swob, but I've hit the tools next time it's there! Funnily enough they've been clear all day!!! Typical! thanks for replying!

She didnt say anything about the grainy poo but she did ask if he was teething....which he is!
