DS, 4, has 'squeezed' his willy and is now in pain

DS was playing upstairs earlier when he shouted down that his willy had got big so he'd squeezed it and some white stuff came out!
I went to see him and he did indeed have some white stuff on his leg, more like tiny lumps than liquid IYSWIM. I spoke to DH who said it sounded like smeg?
I left it thinking I'd google later but when DS went for a wee a little later he was crying out in pain.
His willy gets fat as he tries to wee and it really hurts him.
He has managed to do one wee after some bribery and it is clear and odourless.
It seems to hurt off and on, but particularly when trying to wee.
Have given nurofen and got docs appt later on but he's quite distressed. Should or could I be doing anything else?
What might it be, cystitis?

Sounds like he might have a little infection in the tip of his willy to me. I remember this happened to one of my DSs and was given some Fuciden cream to treat it.

Thanks mumof4 (I've always dreamt of 4 boys!) Doc said infection too as is red but he's got medicine not cream.
Hopefully clears up soon. He's a bit of a panicker so it's quite stressful when he's poorly!

My DS had this as a toddler - Balanitis - and got ABs for it. It's an infection of the tip of the penis and is really sore - the abs cleared it up really quickly, and we've had no issues since.

Thanks dora hoping it's better very soon. He gets pretty het up when he needs a wee as he knows it's going to sting.
He did just go tho and didn't seem as bad as this afternoon.
Think will keep him at home tomorrow tho as wouldn't want to inflict his hysteria at wee time on the ladies there!
