what was the first sign of chicken pox

Hi DD in reception and 4 of her class have come down with chicken pox. Neither of mine have had it yet and DS (3) has been under the weather the last day and was sick last night. Just wondering if it could be a sign? Also wouldn't DD be more likely to get it first? Or is the first sign just a spot that rapidly spreads?
TIA

My ds had a really high temp, was sick, and started having a mild fit (from the temp) I rushed him up to hospital and they checked him over, said to keep up the calpol and keep a eye. Next day he was covered in spots! I was quite relived tbh thats what it was. Very scary.

Its likely that if one gets it the other may well do.

Tbh I was quite glad to get it out the way!

All three of mine had cod symptoms before they got the pox.

My older two started with a cough/cold a couple of days before the spots appeared.

*cold not cod

Mine were a bit grumpy and scratching a lot. When they got in the bath it was abvious why they had been scratching.
Bad Mum had been nagging them a lot though Blush

First sign DS had it was a blister on his chest. He hadn't been ill at all so it was a bit of a surprise!
