<Quick> any ideas of what I can ask for?

Ds and dd have been poorly for a week now. Vile cold and cough. The cough is now making them cry and sounds awful so we have a docs appt at 11.20.
Problem is dd will not take any medicine in any way. If even a drop goes into her mouth she's seriously sick. She's 6 months. Is there anything I can suggest to the doc? (He's a bit useless tbh)

I've had more concentrated versions (i.e. 6+ calpol) with the amount calculated based on ds weight. Just means I need to give less. Not sure that helps if she won't even take one drop! have read on here about suppositories but no doc has ever offered me that.

paracetamol suppositories! DS will not take oral meds but he had an op when he was two and the drs prescribed them.
You can buy them without a prescription from a pharmacy, but they are really expensive, something like £18 for ten.

Does she take solids? Could you mix it up in yoghurt?

Thanks everyone. Doc just prescribed her antibiotics, looked at me like I'm an idiot and told me to just give them to her. That's that problem solved then. Why didn't I try that before Hmm
