DS is just recovering from his (3rd) D&V bug. At the moment i have just been giving him water to keep him hydrated and a few crackers.

(he could not even keep down soya milk or some plain boiled rice.)

by late afternoon, it will be 24 hours so i will try and introduce some food. i am thinking to give him a bit of plain pasta and some plain boiled vegetables, such as his favourites, peas and carrots.
also, re: milk, he has cow and gate toddler formula, so i am wondering whether to give him some diluted formula, say 50% dilution, so it is not too rich / heavy on his stomach.

[have not been to dr's etc as it started on saturday night and we are in france. i also think it is just one of those things, as we went to a playgroup on friday, having been away (in the uk) for 2 1/2 months and i think he jsut picked up some new germs....]

any tips gratefully received!

what you suggest sounds fine. It is most important that he is hydrated so dont worry if he doesnt eat much. My ds is also in recovery as he was sick/had diarrhoea on Wednesday night and still hasnt eaten much since. He is still off school this week although he now has very bad cough/cold that also made him sick yesterday. He managed to eat some breakfast so we'll see how he does the rest of the day
